Yesterday didn’t go to plan… and that’s OK.
Just back from holiday, day 5 of a heavy period (perimenopause with endometriosis is a real rollercoaster!) and still shaking off a dose of labyrinthitis.
I’d planned to be productive. Smash the loooong To Do list. Hit the gym. Get out in the fresh air. Be generally amazing.
Instead I …
✅ Ticked off three things
✅ Had a nap
✅ Gua Sha’d my poorly foot (stubbed it on the kitchen table in a particularly vicious dizzy moment)
✅ Watched four episodes of The Traitors
✅ Didn’t push through
I almost did. I almost forced myself to power on through, but then I remembered what I bang on about all the time and my words echoed around my own head:
Rest is productive.
Listening to your body is powerful.
You’ll feel so much better for it tomorrow.
And do you know what? I do.
No guilt. No rubbish-to-eat cravings. No snappy energy. Just… softer.
