You are stardust & strength
Your Monday Morning Happiness Prompt 🧡
Good morning, beautiful soul. Let’s take a deep breath together—the kind that settles into your bones, that grounds you, that releases your tension, and that reminds you of your own existence, your presence, your magic.
Because today, I want you to remember something:
You are stardust and strength.
You are made of the same elements as the stars that burn brightly in the sky. The same cosmic dust that formed the galaxies runs through your veins. You are not small. You are not insignificant. You are part of something vast, something infinite.
And yet, you are also strength—earthly, tangible, powerful. You have walked through storms and kept going. You have been knocked down and risen again. You have known pain, loss, fear, and yet here you are, still standing, still growing, still becoming.
This isn’t just poetic language; it’s truth. You are the embodiment of resilience and beauty, a living testimony to the power of transformation. Even on the days you feel fragile, even when you doubt yourself, even when the mirror doesn’t reflect back the confidence you wish it did—you are both stardust and steel.
But I know it isn’t always easy to see your own strength. Most days I struggle with it, too.
Because sometimes, life grinds us down. Trauma, loss, exhaustion—they whisper lies, telling us we are weak, telling us we are failing. Sometimes, we are so caught up in just getting through the day that we forget to stop and see the miracle that is us.
So today, let’s change that. Let’s slow down, breathe, and truly see the strength and beauty you hold.
The Science of Strength: Your Body is Designed for Resilience
Strength isn’t just about willpower. It’s in your very biology. Your body is designed to heal, adapt, and regenerate. Every single day, you are literally becoming new.
Your Cells Regenerate Constantly – Right now, your body is replacing old cells with new ones. Skin renews itself every few weeks, your gut lining every few days. You are not the same person you were a year ago—literally.
Your Nervous System Can Rewire Itself – Neuroplasticity means that even if you’ve spent years believing you’re not strong enough, your brain can change. You can train yourself to see your own power. (It’s also worth remembering that it works the other way, too.)
Your Heart Beats for You, No Matter What – Through stress, through sadness, through exhaustion—your heart never stops fighting for you. That alone is proof of your resilience.
And when we align with these natural processes, when we work with our bodies instead of against them, we unlock something incredible: a deep, unshakeable sense of strength and beauty that radiates from within.
Five Ways to Recognise and Embody Your Strength & Beauty
1. Honour Your Inner Seasons
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), your energy (Qi) moves in cycles, just like the seasons of nature. Sometimes, you are in your “spring”—full of fresh energy and growth. Other times, you are in your “winter”—a time of rest and introspection.
When you are in a high-energy phase, embrace it. Move, create, take bold steps.
When you are in a lower-energy phase, don’t fight it. Slow down, nourish yourself, trust that your energy will rise again.
The problem? Society expects us to be in “summer” all the time—productive, glowing, full of energy. But real strength is knowing when to rest as much as it is knowing when to act.
Try this: Check in with yourself today. Are you in a spring, summer, autumn, or winter phase? Honour your energy, whatever it is.
2. Use Somatic Healing to Release Emotional Blocks
Somatic practices are based on the idea that trauma, stress, and emotions live in the body, not just the mind. If you’ve ever felt emotionally heavy, disconnected, or stuck in negative thought loops, your body might be holding onto something that needs releasing.
A Simple Somatic Exercise for Strength:
Sit comfortably and take a deep breath.
Place your hands on your heart and belly.
Breathe in for a count of four, hold for four, breathe out for six, and hold that empty breath for six.
As you exhale, imagine releasing any heaviness from your body.
Whisper to yourself: I am safe. I am strong. I am healing.
Strength isn’t about pushing through at all costs. It’s about releasing what no longer serves you, making space for your true self to shine.
3. Speak to Yourself as You Would a Loved One
We are so quick to admire the strength of others. We see beauty in our friends, in strangers, in people overcoming challenges. And yet, when it comes to ourselves? The inner critic takes over.
But here’s the truth: Your mind believes what you repeatedly tell it.
If you say, I am not strong enough, your body listens.
If you say, I am failing, your energy contracts.
But if you say, I am resilient, I am learning, I am enough, your body responds with ease, expansion, confidence.
Try this: Stand in front of the mirror today. Look yourself in the eye. Say, I see your strength. I see your beauty. I see you. Say it every day. Watch what happens.
4. Reconnect with the Earth
When life feels overwhelming, one of the most powerful things you can do is ground yourself—literally. The earth is a steady, unwavering force. When you connect to it, you remind your body that you too are stable, you too are unshakeable.
A Simple Grounding Practice:
Stand barefoot on the earth (grass, sand, soil—whatever is available to you).
Close your eyes and imagine roots growing form your feet deep into the ground.
Say softly, I am rooted. I am supported. I am strong.
This practice calms the nervous system, eases anxiety, and brings you back into your power.
5. Celebrate How Far You’ve Come
Sometimes, we are so focused on what’s ahead that we forget to acknowledge how far we’ve already come.
Think about where you were five years ago. One year ago. Even a month ago. You have grown. You have changed. You have survived things you once thought you couldn’t.
That is strength. That is beauty.
Try this: Today, take five minutes to write down three things you are proud of yourself for—big or small. Celebrate yourself. You deserve it.
Final Thought: You Are Already Everything You Need to Be
You don’t need to become stronger—you already are strong. You don’t need to search for beauty—it already exists within you.
