Good morning, beautiful soul.
Let’s begin our Monday morning off with our usual, beautifully gentle invitation to take things slowly. No rush. No pressure to perform. Just a soft moment of being exactly where you are.
Because I know that where you are right now, or at points later in the week, might not feel like much.
Maybe it tiredness.
Maybe you feel stuck.
Maybe you’re wondering why things still feel heavy, why you haven’t bloomed yet, why your dreams seem paused in some far-off future.
And I want to say this to you, with love:
You’re not behind. You’re becoming.
The Chrysalis Stage Feels Like the End — But It’s Not
I read a beautiful thing yesterday - How lucky the butterfly is that he didn’t mistake his chrysalis for the end of the world.
Because let’s be honest — that’s exactly what it can feel like, isn’t it?
The chrysalis isn’t cosy. It’s not a pretty phase. It’s tight. Still. Dark. Quiet.
The caterpillar doesn’t just nap and wake up as a butterfly. It breaks down. It dissolves. Its entire identity, form and function unravels before it is re-formed.
And that’s what becoming really is.
It’s the deep, aching work of not knowing who you are anymore.
Of letting go of who you used to be.
Of sitting in the not-yet, in the stuck, in the slow, in the in-between.
And that is sacred work.
You are not lost.
You are not late.
You are not failing.
You are becoming. And it’s hard. And beautiful. And temporary.
Healing Can Feel Like Isolation — But It’s Transformation
When you’re in it - the symptoms, the burnout, the grief, the confusion or frustration - it can feel like the world is moving on without you. Like you’re missing out. Like you should be doing more, being more, getting there already.
But becoming is not a linear journey.
Healing is not a straight line.
And your timeline is nobody else’s.
That fog you’re in? That stillness? That feeling of being disconnected or raw or a bit undone?
That’s not your life falling apart.
That’s the quiet dismantling of what no longer fits.
It’s your chrysalis.
And on the other side?
Wings.
If You’re Feeling Lost Right Now — You’re Not Alone
Here are 5 gentle journaling prompts and mantras to help you hold yourself in this season of becoming. Use them slowly, lovingly, and without expectation. Let them hold space for the version of you that’s emerging.
1. “Where in my life am I trying to rush what needs to unfold?”
Let this show you where you’ve been judging yourself for not being “there” yet. Let it offer permission to slow down and trust the timing.
Mantra: “My pace is perfect for me.”
2. “What does my current ‘chrysalis’ feel like and what might it be preparing me for?”
Naming your discomfort helps you process it. Seeing it as a stage helps you release the pressure. And visioning the ‘eng goal’ helps us keep on going.
Mantra: “This is not the end. It’s the middle.”
3. “Who was I before this season and who am I beginning to become?”
Reflect on the identity you’re shedding and what you’re making space for. Notice the growth you couldn’t see while it was happening.
Mantra: “Even in stillness, I am changing.”
4. “What would I say to a friend who felt as stuck or uncertain as I do now?”
Often, the compassion we can’t find for ourselves flows effortlessly toward others. This prompt lets you redirect that kindness inward.
Mantra: “I am doing brilliantly. I am enough.”
5. “What does becoming look like for me?”
This isn’t about goals. It’s about feeling into your future self. What does she need from you today?
Mantra: “I am not behind. I am becoming.”
Becoming Is Messy, But It’s Also Magic
Please remember, lovely, you don’t owe the world constant progress.
You don’t need to be blooming all the time.
You are allowed to be in-between, undone, uncertain.
Because right there, in your chrysalis, is where the magic happens.
Not when you’re perfect.
Not when you’ve “figured it out.”
But right now. As you soften, shed, and slowly remember who you truly are.
This stage is not your end.
It’s your becoming.
And it will not last forever.
If You Needed to Hear This — Please Share It
If someone you know is in their own chrysalis moment — their dark and confusing middle — send them this post. Forward it. Tag them. Let them know they’re not alone.
The more we name the truth of these quiet seasons, the more permission we give each other to rest and rise in our own time.
P.S. The Spring Bundle Is Still Here — But Not for Long
Because I’ve been under the weather and haven’t had chance to update the tech this week, the Spring Reset Bundle is still live at the discounted price. (Shhhhhhhhh)
It will be returning to full price (or it may even disappear to be morphed into something else, I haven’t decided yet) some time this week, so if you’ve been sitting in the chrysalis wondering where to begin... let this be your first gentle step.
It’s not about pushing through.
It’s about remembering who you are and slowly, kindly, and beautifully reconnecting.
Grab it now before it disappears:

You’re not broken. You’re not behind.
You’re becoming.
